My Story

Hi! Thanks for checking out my page! I'm Leah, a portrait and wedding photographer in Door County, Wisconsin. I believe it's so important to have photographs of those special milestones in your life that you can look back on and cherish for years to come. From beginning to end, having your picture taken should be fun and easy. My hope is to make you feel prepared, confident and comfortable so you can enjoy being in the moment while we create some beautiful photos.

I started my business in 2015 after my sister-in-law asked if I could photograph her wedding the year prior. I had been fascinated with photography, especially portraiture, my whole life, but after I shot her wedding, I was hooked! I love the constant movement of being on my feet, the excitement, joy, and most of all, being able to witness and document the love and commitment of two people starting their lives together. Let's be honest, I really do it for the cake!

In addition to weddings, I photograph couples who are just engaged, expecting, or couples who are celebrating their anniversary. I feel so lucky that I can combine my love of photography and love stories into one!

I also specialize in high school senior photos. I would have to say that this is one of my favorite types of sessions, because I get to work one-on-one with teens who are about to take that next step into adulthood. These photo shoots are so fun, and I love watching their inner model, confidence and personalities shine through. If you're a parent or guardian, these pictures are not just for a yearbook, they are special keepsakes that you will be able to look at when you're missing your high school senior once they are off on their own adventures.
